Women in Boys' Schools - Leadership, Empowerment and Building a Network for Success

This dynamic workshop is designed to support women who work in boys' schools through understanding a gendered workplace culture, how to navigate the challenges that can be unique to these environments, and developing a skill set based on personal empowerment, agency and voice. Participants in this workshop will also have opportunities to connect and network with other women in boys' schools and to build their network, which research indicates is essential to success.

Our Director and Founder Melinda completed her Doctoral research on women and their leadership experiences in boys' schools, and it's a topic she is deeply passionate about. Melinda leads this workshop and designed it based on what she wished she knew when she started teaching and leading in a boys' school. She blends this first hand experience with current research and her extensive academic and anecdotal understanding of boys' education.
